Treatments

Traditional Treatment(Creams and Retinoid) - Traditional stretch marks treatment incorporates the usage of creams and gels. There are various commercially available and over the counter creams and gels which also claim to be highly effective in removing the marks.

TCA(Tri-chlor acetic acid/Chemical peel )- 15% to 30% solution of TCA is used to remove superficial marks on the skin. This leads to formation of new collagen there by reducing the marks.

Radiofrequency Therapy- Radiofrequency therapy for stretch marks is a non-invasive, safe, and less expensive option to improve skin’s appearance. RF treatments induce collagen production which is highly effective.

LASER THERAPY Laser Stretch Marks Removal therapy was approved by the Food and Drug Administration in 2002.

A Fractional Laser exudes a small ray of ultraviolet light to the area. .As the light hits the stretch marks the energy from the laser is absorbed into the skin to stimulate a new collagen growth.

The skin becomes firmer, tighter, stronger and more resilient ,and also minimizes, or reduces the appearance of marks.

IPL(Intense Pulsed Light laser )- This works under the skin. A powerful beam of light is focused at a close range. This produces heat which removes damaged skin tissues and stimulates collagen.

Fractional RadioFrequency- Fractional RF is a machine which combines radiofrequency with micro needling for rejuvenation and tightening of skin which can also be used.

Combination therapy- A platform with a different hand pieces fractional laser and radiofrequency, can be combined together to reduce it.

Micro dermabrasion

A It involves a hand- held hat device that blows crystals onto skin. These crystals gently abrade or “polish” the skin’s surface. Then, a vacuum tube removes the crystals and skin cells. Microdermabrasion gently removes the skin’s topmost layer, which may result in new skin growth that is more elastic.
