What is Dyspareunia

It is defined as persistent or recurrent genital pain that occurs just before, during or after intercourse and that causes you personal distress. Painful intercourse is worth talking about, because there are treatments that can help eliminate or reduce this common problem

What are the Symptoms of Dyspareunia?

Dyspareunia distracts women from excitement and pleasure feeling sometimes in certain cases, after the original source of pain disappeared, dyspareunia sufferers might feel pain because she expects pain.

  • New pain after previously pain-free intercourse
  • Pain with every penetration, even while putting in a tampon.

  • Vaginusmus- Involuntary spasms of the muscles of the vaginal wall (Vaginusmus) can make attempts at penetration very painful vestibulitis.
